《Tune: For the Bridegroom • To Prime Minister Lee》 Zhang Yuen Gan (1091-1161)
I ascent the tower helped by my cane
The Big Dipper hangs
In the river billows surge high and wide
On the foggy landing the moon shines
Clouds driven away winds remain
No boat will carry me over the river tonight
Wild geese roost
Deep in reeds
Here I look for my lone shadow
Where people dwell snoring rise like drumming
Who would keep step with me
To dance in drunken spree Continue reading
Divine Grasses are green all over
Spring at Peach Flower Valley hover
Where peach flowers bloom in huge numbers
Oriels on every branch linger
I try to find my path through the flowers
To enter where clouds flow
And feel the grandeur of the rainbow
My concern rests with the flowers
Their red dews may wet my clothes
Reclining against a boulder I sit
And adjust notes melodic
Where is Li Bai the legend poet
Who would drink with me this minute
I seek for grass immortal
Not for fame or worldly materials
I croon to no avail
Tipsy I walk down the hill carefully
The moon follows me home willingly
《無題》寒山 (唐) 《No Title》 Han Shen (Tang Dynasty)
My way of life features self-recreation
Living in a cave up on high mountain

Continue reading
