青絲依樣似舊時 My hair still black like yore
鎮日書空  Here no books days pass one and all
孤懷無寄     My heart lonely deplete of wishes
人鄉有意從頭認     I came determined to learn what people cherishes
壯志縱成烟     Even if my wishes and devotion were covered by smoke
不向蓬蒿浪擲    They will not be cast to the tide following in vogue
心血如潮     My heart gushes with blood hot and intense
七度春秋銷北地     Seven years in this northland hence

衰逝堪傷天欲晦     How much more drifting will I endure like this
問後來歲月     I ask to seek answers from the future
還能幾許     What else I could do to creatively feature

高山流水休再聽     Among towering hills and torrential rills songs hide
廣陵散絕     The classic Guang Lin silenced we miss
無復當年韵     Its charming tunes drown in mists
只如今抖擻舊精神 I awake my potentials today with the old spirit
酬盡心頭文字債 To write paying up all literary demands and deficits
待取新衣上征程 Then don on my new coat to embark on a new path
好將身手試  To do the best I could be
長為孺子牛  Teaching young people to be free
