金沢的近江町市場（Omicho Market）是日本十大鮮美食材市場之一，始建於17世紀，素有金沢厨房之稱。這一帶是武士道大宅林立地區，有豐富的海產和米產，以及名鎮一時的金沢堡和兼六園，更有遠近遊客馳鶩的長町巷，展覧日本新藝人對傳統瓷器、漆器和染布的創作。

日本人最大也是最巧的特點是懂得攝取中華智慧精華，落實在日常生活裡，從古世代傳承至今，不變更，緊守着。
儒家智慧包羅天地人間，本文只談日本人怎樣重視教育，謹守它的目的，不斷發展創新，以愛為本。《大學》說：“苟日新，日日新，又日新…..是故君子無所不用其極。”它強調人們必須積極學習和奮鬥，用盡所能。該書又引《詩》說明天倫和人倫之道，解釋仁、敬、孝、慈、信、義、忠、勇的修身重則，都是愛的責任。
等到宋朝(10-12世紀)，日本天皇派遣大量使者到中國學習，把王陽明的「心學」和佛禪的和平安寧修養帶回日本，融入社會的各層運作，塑造日本人的宇宙觀、人生觀和生活取向。
