溪山擊鼓助雷驚  They roll drums at Qi Hill to wake up the tea trees
逗曉靈芽發翠莖  Before daybreak they pick tender stems and leaves
摘處兩旗香可愛  Where buds open to two leaves their fragrance protrude
貢來雙鳳品尤精  Tea for the Emperor are marked with phoenix images true

寒侵病骨惟思睡  I feel drowsy when my bones have the chills
花落春愁未解酲  In drunkenness fallen petals or spring sorrows could not cure
喜共紫甌吟且酌  How happy it is to share with you a pot of tea and poetry
羨君蕭灑有餘清  I envy your free life with lingering fragrance in your teeth
