【劉道一為同盟會會員，1906年從日本回國。年底，醴萍瀏武裝起義爆發，負責聯絡同盟會東京總部。次年1月被捕，就義於長沙，年僅二十二歲。為同盟會武裝起義犧牲的第一位會員。】
