I had visited Su Shih’s ancestral hall at Mei Shen
And admired his poems on notable paintings fine
I seek everywhere to locate his art works authentic
And blot print his calligraphy on tablets in monasteries
We share many experiences though living in different times
Your loves and dreams regarding life and death and mine rhyme
How fortunate we are to inherit your brush and ink splendid
This Bamboos Thriving on Rocky Grounds is timeless indeed
