After so many days of idling, it’s time for me to check out my trail again now that everybody in the house has left after the Christmas gathering.
Chillingly cold…that I recognized.
Minus 12 on the thermometer on the window pane
Minus 6 inside the car in the garage
Minus 17 inside the car as I parked it before getting off on my walk
….and all these were before the windchill factor.

“Happy Birthday, Son”__Rose Ho
Thirty years ago this day, I gave birth to my son, the youngest of my children.
Today, it’s his 30th birthday, a turn of another decade for him. I wish him health and wisdom.
I might have written some of the following before, but I do like to write again….

‘French beat Chinese at a mah-jong championship in France’,
reported South China Morning Post.
There were 108 participants; 13 were Chinese. The best Chinese players ranked 7th and 8th.
