一片二片三四片  One flake two flakes three four flakes
五片六片七八片  Five flakes six flakes seven eight flakes
九片十片無數片  Nine flakes ten flakes eleven flakes
飛入蘆花看不見  Into reeds is seen no more flakes

嗇彼豐茲信不移   Heaven treats people differently
我於困頓已無辭   I am hard put to find words to depict my drudgery
束狂入世猶嫌放   Behaving my best people regard me as lunatic
學拙論文尚厭奇   Writing carefully my essays are seen as eccentric
看月不妨人去盡  Watching the moon alone I see as I please
對花只恨酒來遲  Appreciating flowers I wait for wines uneasily
笑他縑素求書輩  Laugh not at those who come for my calligraphy
又要先生爛醉時  They wait for me to get drunk so patiently
