短短橫牆  Surrounding the place is a low wall
矮矮疏窗  Windows intermittent and small
一方兒  小小池塘Nearby sits a tiny square pond
高低迭嶂         Distant hills stand low and tall
曲水邊旁         A brook meanders through them all
也有些風         Wind there is
有些月                         Moon there is
有些香                         Fragrance there is

日用家常  Daily utensils handy
竹幾藤床  Bamboo table and rattan bed ready
盡眼前              Before our eyes
水色山光  Water colors reflect scenic hill beauties
客來無酒  Visitors welcome with no wine
清話何妨  Chatting casually on nothing divine
但細烘茶  We brew tea caringly
淨洗盞    Bowls are washed neatly
滾燒湯              Tea broth simmers in no hurry
