擁毳對芳叢  On my monk coat I watch flowers bloom
由來趣不同  Perception follows values of my own
發從今日白  My hair grey from today on
花是去年紅  Red flowers bloom in years prolong
艷冶隨朝露  Their beauty begins with morning dews
馨香逐晚風  Their fragrance dispersed with eve winds
何須待零落  Need we see how flowers wane
然後始知空  To realize life strives are but in vain

或淡或濃施雨去  Now light now thick clouds carry drizzles away
半舒半捲逆風來  Against winds they disperse or roll their beauty stays
為憐途路無棲泊  For fear they have no place to rest while they continue to sojourn
卻把柴扉永夜開  I keep my cabin door open all night to morn
