名山南峙此登臨  To the south side of this famous mount here I arrive
絕頂融峰敢摘星  On the summit I dare to pick a star raising hands high
眼底奔流湘水碧  Below my eyes the blue River Xian swiftly flows
巒巔追逐白雲深  To the depths of white clouds mountain ranges follow
我歌紅日經天麗  For the red sun in a glorious sky I loudly sing
誰遣豪情仗劍行  His mightiness shown his sword in swing
莫道兩洋波浪闊  Fear not the roaring waves in the two oceans wide
乘風飛去搏長鯨  To battle the whales there on winds I ride

東風吹暖碧瀟湘  The east winds keep the blue Xian River warm
聞道浯溪水亦香  They say fragrance urges the Wu Stream on
最憶故園秋色裡  How I pine for my native home in autumn hue
滿山楓葉艷驚霜  Hills of maples their colors beacon frosts to yield

重上戰場我亦難  To return to battleground I am unable
感君情厚逼雲端  Indebted I am to your love tall as clouds float
無情白髮催寒暑  Grey hairs hurry the passing of years with no concession
蒙垢餘生抑苦酸  Falsely indicted my life will continue to face oppression
病馬也知嘶櫪晚  A sick horse knows justice will not come even with calls
枯葵更覺怯霜殘  Withered palms are surely afraid to face biting frosts
如煙往事俱忘卻  Gone are past deeds forgotten like smoke in wind
心底無私天地寬  My heart magnanimous my sky wide open

遙憐燈下憶初衷  By lamplight I recall how we care for a common goal
井崗曉日延河月  Mornings up the mountain and moons by the Yanon River
莫嘆相逢是夢中  Could it be only a dream our coming together remembered
