「what is the difference between “疼” and “痛” ?」

我不經大腦，立刻回答：

「疼=love, like it. 疼爱，疼惜。」

兒子再說：「I mean like 疼死。」

「痛=painful, 疼死=love u to death, 痛死=painful to death。」

不久兒子再來訊息：「My book says 疼 is aching. I think you should get it up cuz maybe like Beijing mandarin is different 。」

知道教错了兒子：「U are right u can say it that way too。」

兒子說：「Yah, I’m more used to using 很痛。」

精準教授：「疼 is double meaning. Because in Cantonese , 疼 and 痛 same sound. Manderain sounds different. Confused me。thanks for the Chinese lesson。」

兒子總結：「Hahaha yah that’s what I thought. I think it’s like a dialect discrepancy thing。」
