   Thank you for your good wishes.
   You helped me a lot without yourself knowing it as the Class Prefect of Form2B in ’57-’58 when I first joined WYK in September, 1957, fresh from Northcote Teacher’s College. In all my classes, you collected all the maths homework exercise-books and nicely placed them on the teachers’ desk. There were no missing ones. This made my record keeping in perfect order.
   You had such a good influence over your fellow-classmates that Form2B was a joy to teach.
