人人盡説江南好   遊人只合江南老
春水碧於天  畫船聽雨眠

Everyone is full of praise for the beauty of the South;
It seems my fate to end my days an exile in the south.
The spring river is bluer than the sky;
As it rains, in a painted barge I lie.

罏邊人似月   皓腕凝霜雪
未老莫還鄕  還鄉須斷腸

Bright as the moon is she who serves the wine,
Like frosts or frozen snow her white wrists shine.
O while you are young, do not depart!
For if you do, you ‘ll bear a broken heart!

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? 欲以夏曰狀君姿，
