Nel grande giardino ci sono,

Un mondo di fiore:

Rossi come di sole;
Bianchi simile alla luna;

Azzurri dal chiaro cielo;

Verdi sul calmo mare.

Molto amo la campagna!
Dove nell’ eterno sonno，

Resta mia gentile madre.

一 An Italian poem written nineteen years ago, in memory of my beloved mother, who suffered the agonies of war; endured the  hardships of poverty; and passed away prematurely, before the arrival of prosperity.
