I wrote a new poem and drank a cup of wine
In the old pavilion last year’s weather remained fine
When will you come back to celebrate the sun its ray decline

Helplessly I see flowers fade and fall
Delightful these swallows I seem to know visit again my wall
Round the fragrant path in my cosy garden I loiter alone
