Nature’s sky seldom feature a single colour
Nor does the sun come out in one manner
On this day’s early hour I look
The sky lines the hill-tops with a yellow stroke
Above is this huge patch of charcoal gray
Still up is a greenish vast canvas on display
Where strips of light clouds streak gently by
Across a silhouette of tall buildings extending wide
HazeĀ on the horizon is testing its energy
To screen an enlarging orb its radiance not ordinary
I ask the neutral trees what’s going to happen
Surprised they remain silent for the moment
When dawn appears its brilliance never a repeat
Each time it comes it brings a brand new spirit
