Comments:<\/span>\u00a0 This seemingly simple\u00a0Italian art song is in the common\u00a0syllabus of\u00a0a voice student.\u00a0 Pavarotti’s interpretation (link below) is very touching.\u00a0\u00a0 His anguished lamentation of misunderstood love, be it filial or romatic, is aptly expressed.\u00a0\u00a0He has impeccably\u00a0clear articulation and diction.\u00a0 Perfetto e’ bravissimo!\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Pavarotti’s clip also include his rendition of Gluck’s Che faro’ senza Euridice <\/em>(see\u00a0\u00a0http:\/\/blog.wykontario.org\/?p=5718<\/a>).\u00a0 <\/em>It’s a pleasant surprise as the aria is usually sung by a mezzo or countertenor nowadays.\u00a0 He applies similar techniques in its interpretation.<\/p>\n
