foursome baby birds grow day and night<br \/>\nThey plead for nourishment tweeting with mouths wide<br \/>\nFresh worms are far away\u00a0and not easy to catch<br \/>\nThe opening mouths are ne&#8217;er fully fed<br \/>\nBeaks and claws of parent birds are worn out approaching defeat<br \/>\nBut caring ma and pa care not their own fatigue<br \/>\nThey busy in relay rounds to fetch food without rest<br \/>\nThe hunger of their nestlings must not go through any test<br \/>\nAfter a month of such laborious tasks complete<br \/>\nTo teach baby birds to chirp and call is no small feat<br \/>\nThe fletching feathers also need be cleaned with mum&#8217;s beak<br \/>\nAs soon as baby birds get ready to fly<br \/>\nThey\u00a0need be coaxed to take position on tree branches near by<br \/>\nOff they fly with no time for\u00a0looks to linger<br \/>\nThe dispersed birds on wings seen no longer<br \/>\nThe parents search in the air calling their young anxiously<br \/>\nNot a single baby bird returns home knowingly<br \/>\nTo the empty nest mother and father their love prolong<br \/>\nThey twitter grief all night long<br \/>\nSwallow swallow you needn&#8217;t harbour any regret<br \/>\nTo your own childhood days you must reflect<br \/>\nRemember those happy days you were growing up<br \/>\nYou did also leave your parents to freely fly and hop<br \/>\nHow your parents cared to be with you in anguish<br \/>\nThe same caring you now know too late to appease your parents howe&#8217;er you
