Johnny pulled out his iPhone and snapped a picture of the stranger.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He opened his App page, chose Facebook \u2013 Face Recognition<\/em> option and clicked send. A second later, there was a match, out popped the info:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jane Doyle, female, born 2031.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHi Jane, how are you?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cExcellent. And you? Still working hard?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNo choice, can\u2019t retire yet.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAre you still working in the same old place?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

What place was she talking about? Johnny keyed into his Google Personal Timeline Map<\/em>: Intersection: Jane Doyle and Johnny Who. Right away it spitted out the answer, displayed on the screen: Co-workers of Universal Enterprise 2055-7.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNo, not at UE any more. I am with the Japanese company, Recalls In Motion for the past few years.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHave you seen Freddie Jetson lately?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Who is Freddie? Once again, Johnny typed in Google Advance Search<\/em>: Freddie Jetson & Jane Doyle & Johnny Who \u2026.. Robots from the same lot #13385, manufactured by the China Robotics Company.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHaven\u2019t seen Freddie for ages. We should get together sometime.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThat is a good idea.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s arrange it now.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Johnny pulled up his Personal<\/em> Appointment Book<\/em>, typed in Jane Doyle and Freddie Jetson; the apps checked all participants\u2019 schedules automatically, and suggested a time slot that was convenient to all. Johnny clicked OK.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s done, see you again soon, Jane, online.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cBye, nice to see you again, Johnny.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cDitto.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
