What&#8217;s your opinion on this? Thanks.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A: <\/span><\/strong>Good question.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>To test or not to test, it is up to the patient to decide. If a male patient wants PSA , digital rectal exam,\u00a0transrectal ultrasound or a prastate biopsy(if the first\u00a03 are abnormal),\u00a0any normal professional doctor would comply with an added\u00a0caveat that no\u00a0lab test or tests is\/are 100% accurate.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Dr Neil Fleshner&#8217;s opinion is that of the current Canadian MD thinking:<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;Canadians physicians know screening for prostate cancer saves lives, he said.
