六麼摧拍盞頻傳        Listening to the Liuyou song and drinking to celebrate
人生何處似樽前        What could be happier in life than drinking till late

畫船載酒西湖好        The ornate boat carries mellow brews in West Lake beautiful
急管繁弦                    The orchestra plays high and low in varying tempos
玉盞催傳                    Jade wine cups are passed fast around
穩泛平波任醉眠        Lying down tipsy as the boat glides calm

行雲卻行舟下            Floating clouds appear under the boat
空水澄鮮                    The sky shines clear in the lake below
俯仰留連                    I watch my surroundings facing up or down
疑是湖中別有天       And suspect deep in the lake more wonders are found
