長憶觀潮                    Tide watching stays in my memory always
滿郭人爭江上望        The city was out to watch the majestic beauty
來疑滄海盡成空        Tides came as if the sea was being emptied
萬面鼓聲中                Thunders roared from ten thousand places

弄潮兒向濤頭立        Daring tide riders stood atop the towering waves
手把紅旗旗不溼        Holding red banners dry and flattery
別來幾向夢中看        I still enjoy the wonderful views in dreams
夢覺尚心寒                They are as scary and provoking as it seemed
