我本楚狂人    I am an oddity from the south

凤歌笑孔丘    Confucius jokes I sung

手持绿玉杖    A jade green bamboo cane I hold on

朝别黄鹤楼    I leave the Yellow Crane Tower at dawn

五岳寻仙不辞远To meet the immortals on the Five Mounts the trip is never far

一生好入名山游My love in life is to go where famous mountains are

庐山秀出南斗傍Mt. Lu tall and beautiful it accompanies the Wain bright

屏风九叠云锦张Like a brocade nine-panel screen spread wide

影落明湖青黛光They cast emerald shadows on lakes near by

金阙前开二峰长In front of the Golden Gate two peaks tower high

银河倒挂三石梁A waterfall hangs from Three Stone Beams silvery white

香炉瀑布遥相望The Censer Peak Cascades across the valley vies to be seen

迥崖沓嶂凌苍苍Revolving cliffs and ragged ridges look especially clean

翠影红霞映朝日Multicolor hues braze the azure sky at sunrise

鸟飞不到吴天长Heaven is too boundless even birds dare not rise

登高壮观天地间From the peak I survey the sky and earth magnificent

大江茫茫去不还The big river hurries to sea returning not they promise in unison

黄云万里动风色Ten thousand li of yellow clouds ride on wind

白波九道流雪山From the nine tributaries foams white as snow mounts join in

好为庐山谣    Mt. Lu legend songs I love to sing

兴因庐山发    Mt. Lu poems I created like a spring

闲窥石镜清我心I gaze at the Mirror Rock my heart becomes pure

谢公行处苍苔没On Poet Xie Path I stroll till mosses no more for sure

早服还丹无世情I drink my morning fills to forget worldly concerns

琴心三叠道初成To fathom the Dao Way I play my zither on and on

遥见仙人彩云里Suddenly I see immortals in the clouds all friends

手把芙蓉朝玉京They descend from the celestial sphere holding lotus fans

先期汗漫九垓上I go now to reach the ninth sphere before you are there

愿接卢敖游太清I shall wait for you so we wander together in Zenith Clear
