《My House by W.B. Yeats/

《My House by W.B. Yeats/

An ancient bridge, and a more ancient tower,
A farmhouse that is sheltered by its wall,
An acre of stony ground,
Where the symbolic rose can break in flower,
Old ragged elms, old thorns innumerable,
The sound of the rain or sound
Of every wind that blows;
The stilted water-hen
Crossing stream again
Scared by the splashing of a dozen cows; Continue reading

To the Tune Po-Sa Man (“Bodhisatva Barbarians”)》 by Wei Chung (836? – 910 A.D.)

Everyone is full of praise for the beauty of the South;
It seems my fate to end my days an exile in the south.
The spring river is bluer than the sky;
As it rains, in a painted barge I lie.

Bright as the moon is she who serves the wine,
Like frosts or frozen snow her white wrists shine.
O while you are young, do not depart!
For if you do, you ‘ll bear a broken heart!

《Sonnet 18》by W. Shakespeare 《

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, 五月蓓蕾狂風損,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And oft is his gold complexion dimmed;
And everything fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thy ow’st
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, 人有息兮目有光,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

《Guardo le Mie Mani__看我一雙手》 by Chan Sui Man (71)

Guardo le mie mani,
Vorrei che le mie mani,
Continuano con la missione dell’amore.

Affronto queste mani,
Come di fronte a mia gentile madre,
Spero che queste mani,
Seminano i semi della compassione.

《Ode to Psyche》by John Keats__

O Goddess! hear these tuneless numbers, wrung
By sweet enforcement and remembrance dear,
And pardon that thy secrets should be sung
Even into thine own soft-conched ear:
Surely I dreamt to-day, or did I see
The winged Psyche with awaken’d eyes? …..

《After Dark Vapours Have Oppressed Our Plain》by John Keats__

《After Dark Vapours Have Oppressed Our Plain》
After dark vapours have oppressed our plains
For a long dreary season, comes a day
Born of the gentle South, and clears away
From the sick heavens all unseemly stains.
The anxious month, relieving from its pains,
Takes as a long-lost right the feel of May,
The eyelids with the passing coolness play,
Like rose leaves with the drip of summer rains.
