《Singing to Myself》  Qiao Ji (1280-1345)

I sit relaxed in cool breezes
White clouds lie high at ease

On My Way to Jinling                        Qiao Ji (1280-1345)

Tune: Leaning on Railings

Weary birds wailing pass lone villages on their way
Willow catkins shedding all over my head
As if my hair greys too slowly yet

Tune: By the Railing

Lugging this load of poetry far I have strayed
Weary birds are wailing with me on my way
How willows shed their catkins to freely fly
As if to help my head’s grey shine
